These terms govern your use of the SystemsCollab website and the services offered by Systemscollab (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (“SystemsCollab”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a free mockup, creating a client-portal account, or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

SystemsCollab builds a working redesign of a business's homepage, using content and photos the business already has, before any payment is required. If you decide to move forward, we host and maintain the resulting website for a monthly fee.

2. Free mockups

Submitting your website address and email for a free mockup does not create a contract or any obligation to pay. A mockup is a demonstration only; it is not a commitment by either party until you separately agree to proceed.

3. Client portal accounts

The client portal uses passwordless (“magic link”) sign-in — a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to it can sign in as you. Submitting a support ticket through the portal does not by itself constitute a paid engagement; it is a request for us to review and quote or action.

4. Website changes and approvals

Where we make a change to your live website on your behalf, we will stage it for your review before it goes live wherever practical. Approving a staged change through the portal authorizes us to publish it to your live site.

5. Fees and billing

Hosting and maintenance fees, where applicable, are billed on the terms agreed with you directly at the time you engage us. We will tell you the price before any recurring charge begins.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your business's content, photos, and branding. Work we produce specifically for your website becomes yours once paid for in full; we may reuse general techniques, layouts, and code patterns that are not specific to your business.

7. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care in building and maintaining your website, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the site will be free of every defect. To the extent permitted by South African law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time by notifying us. We may suspend or terminate access to the client portal for accounts used in a way that violates these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
